Hannah decided to take a selection of photographs (researched and wrote about them) of Tettenhall including landmarks taken in the same position and angle as the original photographs and postcards taken in the 19th and 20th century.
The late 14th Century tower and the interesting later 19th Century porch were saved and incorporated into the new church.
There is an inscription on each of the four sides of the clock which reads:
I labour here with all my might to tell the hour by day and night;
For every hour that passes there is a record;
For every hour that strikes there is a joy;
For every hour that comes there is a hope.
Mr and Mrs Swindley liked the design of the clock so much that they had a miniature version made in their own garden off Tettenhall Green which is still there today.
