Upper Street
A very interesting view (long vanished) of the top of Old Hill and the bottom of Upper Street. It dates from the early 1900's when the shop on the right was a post office - and later became a cobblers shop. The shop stands right next to the entrance to the Rock Hotel. This entire row and one on the opposite side of the road were demolished in the 1950's to make way for the current council flats.
